OneNote notebooks that are newly copy-pasted ito OneDrive via File Explorer should be automatically fixed. To do this, follow these steps:
1. Close the notebook in OneNote
2. Move the notebook folder via File Explorer out of the 'OneDrive – company name' (OneDrive for Business folder) to some other location, such as the Desktop.
3. Copy and paste the folder back into the OneDrive for Business folder. Wait a few minutes to allow OneDrive to finish syncing & upgrading the files, and the folder should automatically convert to a URL which will then successfully open in the browser (and OneNote client)..</td>
