## Customize the workbook
Since the Update Compliance workbook is an [Azure Workbook templates](/azure/azure-monitor/visualize/workbooks-templates) it can be customized to suit your needs. If you open a template, make some adjustments, and save it, the template is saved as a workbook. This workbook appears in green. The original template is left untouched. For more information about workbooks, see [Get started with Azure Workbooks](/azure/azure-monitor/visualize/workbooks-getting-started).
