## Troubleshooting tips

### Update your admin contact info
Update your admin contact info in the Office 365 admin center to help recover your account if you lose access.

1. Go to the <a href="https://portal.office.com/adminportal/home" target="_blank">Office 365 admin center</a> and sign in with your Office 365 admin credentials.
2. In the admin center dashboard, select your profile on the upper righthand corner and select **My account** from the options.
3. Select **Personal info** and then edit **Contact details** to update  your phone, primary email address, and alternate email address. 

  > [!NOTE]
  > For the alternate email address, make sure you use a different address from your Office 365 email address.

### Recover your password
Forget your password? Follow these steps to recover it.

1. Go to <a href="https://portal.office.com/" target="_blank">https://portal.office.com</a>
2. Select **Can't access your account** and follow the prompts to get back into your account.

## Microsoft 365 Education support
When you need help setting up your device or have a question about using Microsoft 365 Education, follow these steps.

1. Go to the <a href="https://portal.office.com/adminportal/home" target="_blank">Office 365 admin center</a> and sign in with your Office 365 admin credentials.
2. Select **Need help?** at the bottom of the page.

3. Enter your question or open a support ticket.
