In the report, Microsoft's product was called out for the extremely good results due to its ability to block malicious URLs, handle exploits, and classify legitimate applications and websites correctly.
Microsoft's next-generation protection was named as being one of the most effective, stopping all targeted attacks and the vast majority of public threats.
Note: The product tested was Microsoft System Center Endpoint Protection, which is the same product as Windows Defender Antivirus.
