Troubleshooting tips

Update your admin contact info in the Office 365 admin center to help recover your account if you lose access.

Go to the Office 365 admin center and sign in with your Office 365 admin credentials.
In the admin center dashboard, select your profile on the upper righthand corner and select My account from the options.
Select Personal info and then edit Contact details to update your phone, primary email address, and alternate email address.

Note

For the alternate email address, make sure you use a different address from your Office 365 email address.

Forget your password? Follow these steps to recover it.

Go to https://portal.office.com
Select Can't access your account and follow the prompts to get back into your account.

When you need help setting up your device or have a question about using Microsoft 365 Education, follow these steps.

Go to the Office 365 admin center and sign in with your Office 365 admin credentials.
Select Need help? at the bottom of the page.
